Is there an assessment?

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%. 

Presentation 

This training course provides a general overview of the requirements of the AFS Convention and the anti-fouling systems used for new constructions and during ships operational life.

On completion of the training program, the student will be awarded the following qualifications:

Certificate of Anti-Fouling Systems awarded by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore.

The Certificate of Anti-Fouling Systems, issued by Bureau Veritas Solutions Marine & Offshore, is obtained after completing the course and passing the qualification examination.

• Identifier les activités pour lesquelles une Orientation de l'EIA peut être requise, plutôt qu'une ES

• Identifier les activités qui sont « exclues » et qui n'exigent ni ES ni Orientation de l'EIA

• Décrire les différentes étapes du processus d'EIA et identifier les types de consultations qui doivent être effectuées

• Identifier les zones qui doivent être soigneusement étudiées afin de déterminer l'impact potentiel sur leur environnement, et

• Connaître les délais pour mener une ES ou une Orientation de l'EIA
