All relevant ship or shore-based personnel requiring an introduction to ship safety equipment and procedures.

No previous experience is required.

This course aims to describe the life-saving, fire safety and navigational safety control measures associated with ship safety, explain the importance of a safety culture and describe the environmental impact from shipping.

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 70%.
