Description:

FAST TRACK is a learning method which provides you with bespoke learning content by identifying any knowledge gaps you may have in a particular subject area.

FAST TRACK is a pre-assessment learning tool which is designed to assess your existing knowledge of a particular subject area. The pre-assessment uses a pool of questions to test your current knowledge. The results of this assessment help identify your personal knowledge gaps. FAST TRACK then automatically creates a bespoke course to address these knowledge gaps.

Course Goal:

This course aims to provide learners with an awareness of nitrogen and provide best practice for work involving nitrogen in oil and gas producing facilities

This course covers the following learning objectives: 

LO1 Define nitrogen

LO2 Describe the properties of nitrogen

LO3 Explain why nitrogen is used in the workplace

LO4 Describe the hazards associated with nitrogen

LO5 Explain the importance of carrying out a risk assessment

LO6 Give examples of control measures that can be used to limit exposure to nitrogen

LO7 Describe how to use breathing apparatus

LO8 Explain how nitrogen affects the human body

LO9 Identify correct emergency response actions
