WP & SJA provides a basic introduction for all personnel working offshore on the Norwegian continental shelf. The course consists of two main parts,  WP; Work Permit and SJA; Safe Job Analysis.

The course has been developed using the guidelines 088 and 090 owned by Offshore Norge.

Who is this course for?

This course is relevant for all personnel who may affect or be affected by cyber security.

You do not need prior knowledge or experience to complete this course.

This course aims to provide learners with an introduction to cyber-security and cyber-risks, and how by improving personal awareness of cyber-risks can improve cyber-security overall.

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%.

The aim of this course is to increase learners’ awareness of the importance of safe manual handling operations and the risks involved with manual handling. The course also aims to outline best practices for the correct handling techniques for safe lifting; and for the pushing and pulling of loads.

Poor standards of personal hygiene and housekeeping can spread disease and create an uncomfortable environment for all crewmembers. Making personnel aware of how to look after themselves, their cabins and the communal spaces onboard can help to create a happier, healthier and more productive crew.
