Focus on production and processing. Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to give an account of the production process of oil and gas. They should be able to identify platform equipment, state the position, and, in principle, give an account of the workings of the production and process equipment involved.

Kurset gir kursdeltakerne kunnskap om ARL's funksjon og rolle, effektiv kommunikasjon, innholdet i situasjonsrapporter og observasjonsteknikker. Deltakerne lærer også hvordan man slokker mindre branntilløp, samt å utføre livreddende førstehjelp.

Kurset er i hovedsak basert på praktiske øvelser i slukking av brann, bruk av utstyr, slukkemetoder og førstehjelp.

Kursinnhold

Brann:

- Situasjonsrapport
- Slokking av branntilløp med håndslokkemateriell 
- Barrierer (tekniske, menneskelige og organisatoriske)

Førstehjelp:
- Sirkulasjon / blødninger 
- Hjerte- og lungeredning 
- Brannskader 
- Stans av blødninger
- Hode-, nakke- og ryggskader 
- Transport av skadde 
- Førstehjelp, nye momenter

Etter endt undervisning skal kursdeltakerne:
- Kjenne til ARL's funksjon og rolle
- Kunne etablere effektiv kommunikasjon 
- Kjenne til innholdet i en situasjonsrapport 
- Effektivt kunne slokke et mindre branntilløp med en håndslokkemateriell 
- Kjenne til observasjonsteknikker 
- Kunne utføre livreddende førstehjelp

Coaching is a process, which the leaders use to help employees become more independent. There are many coaching programs available to managers these days. But the good leaders implement The COACH Model in coordination with a coaching philosophy that includes mentoring, constant two-way communication, and continuous feedback. The COACH Model is a five-step program that walks a leader through the process of coaching an associate from setting a goal to measuring their success at the end of the process. 

• Describe the effectiveness of the COACH Model 

• Explain the need to clarify goals 

• Identify obstacles and explore alternatives through brainstorming 

• Choose an action and hold the accountability

Executive presence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s a combination of learned behaviors and characteristics that can be developed. Depending upon your personality, industry, business goals and challenges, executive presence can be manifested in different ways. 

Having great presentation skills and making a strong first impression based on your clothing and demeanor is not executive presence. You need more substantive abilities to face daily business challenges, speak your mind while maintaining your composure, or inspire your team to commit to a demanding new goal. Executive presence is a purposefully developed hybrid of internal character and external presentation. Let’s look at the qualities that distinguish great leaders from mediocre ones.
