"As a leader of a small or big team, you all are responsible for the budget allocated to your projects, which in turn is nothing but finance. Thus, knowingly or unknowingly you are involved in financial management too. You must evaluate the investment decisions, such as return on investment analysis after you deliver the product or service that you are responsible for. As a nonfinancial manager, you cannot avoid financial information, profitability statements, rates of return, budgets, variances, asset management, and project analysis.        

In this lesson, you will get an overview of financial management, roles within the financial department, and the four financial objectives of any organization.

Is there an assessment?

Once you have completed the course, you will be asked a series of questions to check your knowledge and understanding. These are based on the learning objectives for the course and have a pass mark of 80%.

This course offers the foundation in theoretical and practical surgical skills and techniques for wound care and cuts that are relevant to the work place. The focus is orientation to the different types of suture materials, suture techniques, proper preparation, examination, evaluation and treatment of different types of wounds / cuts to be able to give the optimal patient care as well as the basis of skin anatomy, physiology and pathology.

Objective:

After completing the course, participants will be able to assess wound infection, treating cuts with various suturing techniques and the use of surgical instruments and equipment, and placing local anesthesia.

IOSH Working Safely is an essential short course for employees of organisations in any industry sector who need a grounding in health and safety. 

Provides an awareness of general workplace hazards and focuses on why health and safety is important to the well-being of the individual worker and those around them.

The object of this course is to help participants maintain and develop their knowledge of leadership and organisational principles for emergency response teams.

This course is valid for 24 months.

Requirements for training related to scaffolding are regulated by law and regulations. This course is based on the requirements of Regulations concerning the Performance of Work, Chapter 17, which is about assembly, dismantling and alteration of scaffolding.

-2-5 meters: 7.5 hours theory and  7.5 hours practical training

-5-9 meters: 15 hours theory and 15 hours practical training

-Over 9 meters: 36 hours theory and 72 hours practical training

This course covers the requirements of theoretical training for scaffolding up to 9 meters, and corresponds to the requirements of the Regulations concerning the Performance of Work, Section 17-2 and 17-3, on theoretical training. There is an additional requirement of 15 hours practical training if 5-9 meters.
